What made you decide to study at York University?
My decision to study at York University was based mainly on the strength of the program and the location.
What's your course of studying?
English and Professional Writing (Honours).
Do you live on or off campus?
Off campus
How would you say studying abroad differs from studying at home?
The presence of such a diverse population in Toronto allows you to meet people from practically every part of the World. Additionally, time management becomes extremely important as it is often easy to become distracted. Overall, you gain more exposure studying abroad than you would if you were home and you're able to experience different teaching styles and practices.
What do you miss most about home?
My friends, family and food!
Have you joined a sorority?
No I haven't. There's isn't much of a Greek presence on campus.
Have you started any associations?
No I haven't, but I joined the Rotary Club and International Students at York club.
What changes have you made in your life since starting college?
I've really gotten better at managing my time accordingly and eating healthier
