What does The Bahamas have to offer besides Sun, Sand and Sea?
The Bahamas offers visitors many many enjoyable memories of smiling faces, great hospitality, lasting friendship and good food. If there's one thing we know how to do, its cook and we take pride in cooking. Just stop by the fish fry and have a bowl of Conch Salad with a cup of Sky Juice while you hear a fish tale or two..... ;-)
What changes would you like to see in The Bahamas?
Changes I'd like to see in The Bahamas is equal opportunity of investments for both Bahamians and none Bahamians. In addition, more focus and finance going into the Educational System, if Public Schools are operated by the Government, then the Government should support them financial so there are not such high fees implemented for registration at those schools. If schools need to raise money, it should be done through fund raisers not taxing of parents. There's a reason why kids go to public schools, its because their parents can't afford Private schools. STOP RUNNING PUBLIC SCHOOLS LIKE PRIVATE SCHOOLS!
Which Country(ies) would you like to visit?
I would like to Visit Australia, Russia, Belgium, not neccessarily in that order. But those are the countries I'd like to visit.
What did you enjoy most during your visit to other Country(ies)?
I've visited Poland, Ireland and UK. What I enjoyed most on all my visits, would be the history and architecture, the meeting some of the people and hearing their story and of course the food. It doesn't compare to the food of the Bahamas, but it was quite an experience.
Anything about The Bahamian Culture you would like to share?
The Bahamian Culture is diverse but yet unique, its a blend of African, European and now unfortunately a blend of American. However most of our traditions are taken from the African blend, this can be seen in cooking, our festivals, religion and family values..
