 Who are you, which island are you from and what are the best features of that island?
Y you wan kno? Lol I am Tina L Neely & I am a proud Brilander (harBouR IsLAND). My opinion of the best features of my island are the hospitable people, our beautiful pink sand beach & the spirit of togetherness though we have different cultures/races on such a small Island!
What is your favourite Bahamian Tradition?
Well most will say Junkanoo but my favorite Bahamian tradition since I was raised on Briland is the Sunday Homecooked Bahamian meals! Some may say that is not the typical response when asked that question but for me it always feels good to experience the aroma of Peas n rice being cooked! Yum.
What does The Bahamas have to offer besides Sun, Sand and Sea?
I could say there are Investment opportunities, great food & History! We offer food, fun & friendships that last a lifetime in most cases! An experience that is rare, so many people say they spend thousands on vacations to other countries but our People & the way we treat them makes the Bahamas stand out!
What changes would you like to see in The Bahamas?
I would like to see more people looking out for their fellow Bahamian! Along with better roads, better education, I could go on but I must first be the change or be willing to fight for the change I would like to see!
Which Country(ies) would you like to visit?
Italy! For the food & history.
What did you enjoy most during your visit to other Country(ies)?
I enjoyed interacting with the people, learning about their history & trying their food!
Anything about The Bahamian Culture you would like to share?
Our belief in God & how you will find most Bahamians in church every Sunday! We are thankful & proud of who we are, we are proud of our country because we feel blessed to be where we are & we know that it is Truly Better in the Bahamas!
